What does RASP-library mean?

no-205 au-01

Raspberry library

This subgroup differs significantly from all subgroups in the RASP Knowledge Base.
Only established programs and the associated documentation are presented in this subgroup.

Preferably programs are chosen that are a) free of charge and b) in our opinion are also well documented.

These programs and documentation are not from the ABIOLA authors who wrote articles in all other subcategories.

What is the difference between articles in the library and other articles?

Let’s explain it in a fun way using a parallel example:

The articles in the library are proven works that have been created over many years and are important for every Raspberry user.

All other items come from various “flea markets”. They are not works, just interesting tips from our authors.

These library programs and documentation are particularly important for teachers and students in Africa. It is, so to speak, the foundation for the user. These are not only important for the start but also accompany a Raspberry Pi user for a lifetime.

ABIOLA did not see the RASP Knowledge Base as a substitute for any documentation. Our goal is for many clever Raspberry freaks to put cool tips in the Rasp Base. One day there should be a lot of cool articles.

The exciting thing about the RASP article is that all the words in the RASP database are indexed and that the content is searched for across the entire Internet.

ABIOLA will donate a variety of Raspberry Systems to African schools. Many schools in Africa have no electricity supply. Other schools have a power supply, but it fluctuates. As a result, there are often power outages.

AABIOLA plans to make a large part of the important articles from “Library” and “Flea Market” available offline for teachers and students. This means that they are also available without the Internet.

We are happy about all Raspberry freaks who make part of their collected knowledge available for the RASP project.
