The top command

The top command provides a dynamic real-time view of a running system. That means you’ll see real-time updates for CPU usage and running time.

1) Run the top command


1) List of the all running processes at run time.

You can interact with this screen pressing below keys:

M: Sorts the list by memory usage
N: Sorts the list by PID
h: Displays the help window
z: Displays running processes in colors
q: Stop the top command and exit
