Static IP Address

Static IP address is necessary if you use Raspberry Pi as a server.

Assign Static IP Address

1. Open Terminal
2. Run below command to open dhcpcd.conf

For this example, we used gedit editor to modify dhcpcd.conf. You can use another text editor or you can install gedit below commands.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gedit

4. Uncommand the marked lines. (Remove #)
5. Click Save
6. Close the file
7. Reboot your Raspberry Pi
